Port Tunnel setting for Easy File Sharing Web Server


First, download the Port Tunnel at http://www.steelbytes.com/

1. Please install and run Port Tunnel on the internet gateway (the computer is running proxy software) of your LAN:



2. then click the 'Add' button to add a port mapping:

Click 'OK' button, Do not forget to click the 'Start' button of Port Tunnel.

3. Tell your friends the Internet IP Address of the internet gateway, then they can visit the Easy File Sharing Web Server on your computer.
For example: If the Internet IP Address of the internet gateway is 221.137.232.15(To find the internet IP address, please visit: http://www.whatismyip.com/), you should tell the following URL to your friends:
http://221.137.232.15:801/

Note: Please also close the firewall on the internet gateway, if Windows XP is running on the internet gateway, you also need to disable Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) or manually open ports in ICF in Windows XP.
